SINGAPORE MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGY CENTER
A collaboration between Aquaporin A/S, the Singapore Membrane Technology Center (SMTC) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and DHI Singapore has received a 3 mio USD funding from the Environment and Water Industry Development Council (EWI) in Singapore to support the project ”Aquaporin Based Biomimetic Membranes for Water Reuse and Desalination”. The project fully funds 25 man-years of research and development in Singapore.
Aquaporin has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Singapore Membrane Technology Center (SMTC). The agreement entails full ownership of all future IPR and know-how generated in the Singapore project to the newly established subsidiary Aquaporin Asia Pte Ltd. Moreover the subsidiary will create the foundation for future business development on the attractive Asian market.
